Rich Heir's Crazy Pursuit

Editor's ReviewWhy We Recommend Rich Heir's Crazy Pursuit

WattPades editors are pleased to recommend Rich Heir's Crazy Pursuit, a title that understands exactly what its audience came for.

Scene-setting is short and atmospheric; the book trusts the reader to do some of the emotional lifting.

Anyone who has ever stayed up past two in the morning reading "just one more chapter" will recognize this novel immediately.

If you prefer your romances completely free of angst, the middle stretch may test your patience — but the payoff is worth it.

WattPades verdict: read it, love it, and come back for more from this author.

The editorial team at WattPades went into Rich Heir's Crazy Pursuit expecting a familiar shape, and came out quietly impressed by how much the author makes of it. The book is generous with the reader: it sets up its tropes honestly, plays them with skill, and then quietly lets the characters outgrow the formula in the back chapters. By the time the final act arrives, the couple feels earned rather than assembled, and that is the difference between a romance that is merely enjoyable and one that lingers.

On a shelf already crowded with similar premises, Rich Heir's Crazy Pursuit stands out for the smallness of its craft: a well-timed scene break, a sentence of interior monologue that reframes an earlier chapter, a confession that arrives exactly where it hurts most. The book is consistently good at these moments, and together they add up to a read that is noticeably better than the average in its sub-genre.

The dialogue snaps, especially in the scenes where the leads refuse to admit what everyone else can already see.

Readers who enjoy possessive-but-principled leads and heroines who never lose themselves will feel right at home.
